Jesus said, “Upon this Rock, I will build My Church”

What Rock? The Rock of Peter’s confession that Jesus was the Christ, The Son of the Living God. I believe He is still in the Church Building business. Jesus draws men and women and boys and girls to Himself and then He plants in a group of like-minded believers and gives them spiritual gifts and empowers them to see Him at work in their world. Then He invites them to join Him there. What an awesome thing it is to be deemed worthy by the Christ, the Son of the Living God, to join Him in His mission to reclaim a lost and dying world. FBC Eustace is just such a group of like-minded believers. My prayer for us all is that we join ourselves to Jesus and each other and walk this life together with “Kingdom eyes”, eyes that are sensitive to the working of our Lord around us. Our purpose as a Church is fivefold:

1.That we will love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength.
That’s worship, both publicly and privately.

2.That we love our neighbor as ourselves.
That’s ministry and that is a way of life.

3.That we make disciples.
That’s evangelism and that also is a lifestyle.
It is to be done every day all day.

4.That we baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That’s fellowship. That is investing our lives in each other so we truly know
each other and can effectively minister along side each other.

5.That we teach all the things Jesus commanded.
That’s discipleship. That’s helping each other to know Jesus more deeply and intimately today than we did yesterday.

So come and join us as we travel this life together, it's a life like no other.

Steven Curtis Chapman would call it “The Great Adventure”.
